Hello Year 7 and 8 Families

As the year draws to a close, we celebrate the growth and achievements of our students — both academically and socially. Our Year 7s are preparing to explore new option subjects, while our Year 8s get ready to transition into the senior years. It’s been a busy but rewarding year, and we’re confident our students will finish strongly!

In Homeroom, students have built strong connections and embraced the idea of being “overprepared rather than underprepared.” Morning routines and activities help set a positive tone for learning, so please remind your young person to arrive on time. Our Personal and Social Capability (PSC) program has focused on community, with students collaborating in “Community Groups” to explore what it means to contribute to our school community.

Our Teaching and Learning updates outline the focus areas for each subject this term—please take a moment to review them and discuss what’s happening in class with your young person.
