From the Grade 9 Coordinator
Dear families,
Welcome to the final newsletter of 2023, it has gone so quickly!
This term students have continued to engage in content surrounding Citizenship, Resilience & Teamwork. This has included team challenges such as building towers, working with younger students, and recognising staff.
As part of this learning, eager students engaged in our culminating event, The Lost World Hike at Mt Wellington. Students were pushed out of their comfort zones, and had to band together (displaying resilience, teamwork and communication) to traverse and conquer the track. We as a teaching team were extremely proud of all students who attended.
I am confident that all students in Grade 9 are ready for the transition to leadership as they enter the senior years at High School. I believe students will be excited about their year to come as they will get their first real glimpse into future careers and passions.
