It is hard to believe that we are at the end of the year, and what a good year it has been! Grade 7s and 8s have been incredibly resilient, determined, and committed to their learning.

This has been shown this Term during Home Room lessons working in Clubs on the skills of teamwork and collaboration. We have had the Grade 7s travel to Zoodoo for a Science excursion, and some Grade 8s running a Business and Economics whole-school fair.

Here are what some of our Grade 7 and 8 students have said about this year:

Cooper - I have liked my teachers because they have been really supportive.

Bella - I have liked meeting new people

Elora - I have liked how it is easy to learn new things because of the great teachers

Bianca and Jayla - The best thing about this year was the excursion to Tassal

Amelia - I have liked being more confident in going to classes

Emily - I really enjoyed writing stories in English

Hannah - I really enjoyed meeting new friends

Riley - I really liked writing my fantasy novella

Our wonderful Grade 7s and 8s are well and truly ready to be Grade 8s and 9s next year. We can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!
