Know Your Local Patch
The Know Your Local Patch events are free for families.
- Thursday, 1st February 2024, 10am till 12noon This one is in Dover and has a local artist coming along to teach watercolor painting. The children will be able to take their art masterpiece home. We also have the support of TMAG who have lent some specimens for us to look up close at for inspiration. We will be painting nature in nature. This will be a special school holiday event.
- Sunday, 25th February 2024, 10am-11:30am There is also a Clean Up Australia Day event at Kingston Beach where children can become an Environmental Superhero and learn why it's so important to keep our natural places clean with interactive environmental story-telling sessions with a puppet expert and the Kingston Beach Coastcare Group.
